
The Lodge is easily reached from M6, 15 minutes drive to Keswick, Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. The Lodge is a detached recently converted building. Splendid views from large shared garden to Lakeland Fells. Perfect for a relaxing break, en-suite bedroom with king size bed and fully equipped kitchen and living area. Lovely pubs in nearby villages, closest is a 12 min walk. Many outdoor activities available locally, Helvellyn and Blencathra nearby. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Your dog is welcome.
On entering the Lodge, in the detached property there is a small boot room, with space for coats and boots. The en-suite bedroom has a king size bed, tv, hairdryer, full length mirror, hanging and storage space.
Under floor heating is throughout the property.
The kitchen and living area has a full size electric oven with hob, full size dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fully equipped with crockery, teapots and cafetière, cutlery, glassware and pots and pans. The living area has a SMART TV, dining table and chairs, sofa with footstools and an electric wood burner effect stove. There is an iron, ironing board and airer. A clothes line is on the patio.
There is an enclosed private patio with comfy chairs, table, chiminea and bbq space. Additionally there is a large shared garden area with seating, bbq space and a fire pit.
Off road designated parking is conveniently situated beside your entrance.
On site there is a washing machine.
The property is suitable for 2 adults and regrettably not suitable for babies, infants or children.
Dogs are welcome but must not be left alone in the accommodation or outside areas. Please include your dog on your booking details, a small additional charge is made for them

Plenty of scenic walks with magnificent views from the doorstep. Just a short drive to the vibrant Lakeland market town of Keswick beside Derwentwater, full of interesting shops and eateries. Aira Force is about a 10 minute drive and is popular with visitors exploring the Ullswater area and the delightful village of Pooley Bridge. Many activities nearby including paddle boarding, canoeing, horse riding, quad bike trails, cycle routes and mountain biking.
A car is probably essential for getting about. There is a regular bus to Keswick / Penrith from the neighbouring village about a mile away.
