Charming handy for Lake District

Archie is our charming shepherd’s hut, set in its own garden space at the top of our shared garden area. Archie offers a nostalgic space for unwinding, there’s only Archie - no other pods or huts near you. Facing southwest there are lovely views. Archie has a double bed, en-suite shower room and toilet, kitchen area with hob,microwave, fridge, fold out dining table and underfloor heating to keep it cosy. Additionally outside there’s a kitchen area, bbq , firepit & seating.

Archie is our lovely shepherd’s hut which has a double bed which can be accessed both sides, kitchen facilities that include - single electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer box, crockery, cutlery and glassware. The en-suite shower room has shower, basin, mirror and toilet and heated towel rail.

There’s a fold out table for dining, playing board games ( a selection in Archie) or for your laptop! A DAB radio is also provided.

Outside is a covered kitchen and seating area, fire pit and bbq with relaxing chairs and a starter amount of wood is provided for you so you can enjoy toasting marshmallows as you enjoy the views from the garden. Further supplies of wood are available for purchase. Don’t forget to bring your snuggle blanket for keeping cosy outside on cooler days.

There is a free to use washing machine on-site and a dryer (small charge)

You can’t park next to Archie, but it’s only a minute walk along the path from your designated off-road parking space. Wi-Fi is available at Archie and there’s usually good mobile phone reception.

One dog is welcome for a small additional charge and must be included in your booking. Please note that the garden boundaries are not dog secure and your dog cannot be left alone either in the shepherd’s hut or garden areas.

Sustainability and care of the environment is important to us. Solar panels contribute to Archie’s energy supply and the garden areas are maintained in a manner to make good habitat provision for wildlife.

Own transport required, there is no public transport to the village.
